The Lemon Sole Seafood Restaurant is located in one of the oldest buildings in Old Portsmouth, you walk through an impressive frontage to fresh, zesty décor which blends beautifully with original features still in place.

The concept of a Pick Your Own Seafood & Fish Restaurant is a key contributor to our long established success at Lemon Sole but it’s a combination of things that makes us worth visiting and visiting again.

Our assortment of fresh fish and seafood is carefully selected daily from local fish markets offering varied range and wonderful selection. You walk up to the counter and can see what takes your fancy, then tell us exactly how you would like it cooked. However not everyone shares the same passion for the delights of the sea so running alongside is an extensive, impressive menu to ensure that you and your guests are well catered for.

And what is a fine dinner without an appropriate fine wine! Having invested a lot of time and research into the Wine World, we are pretty confident that we have a medley of bottles or two, to suit every taste and pocket. Despite this and our continued success it must be remembered that none of this would work without our staff.

As anyone knows it can take years to build a reputation and minutes to smash it. Good service comes as standard, we have secured the services of excellent staff that are only too pleased to welcome you and complete an experience I have no doubt you will be happy to repeat.
