CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCHEON

We all look forward to Christmas day as there is nothing more to do except enjoy yourself.
The presents have been bought, the organising done and at last we can all sit down
and enter into the festivities. Lemon Sole will be open for one sitting on Christmas Day this year thus enabling you to linger over your perfect meal. You can reserve a table between noon and 2 pm by arrangment, but hurry as the most popular times will be booked first.


CHRISTMAS DAY MENU £ 39.95*

STARTERS

Lemon sole clam and saffron chowder
Accompanied with garlic and herb sippets

Scottish oak smoked salmon and Quail egg terrine
Resting on a bed of Hache, with caramelised lemon and lime segments.

Mozzarella and herb roasted med veg tartlets
Served with a black olive and cherry tomato tapenade

Free range Chicken liver parfait
A smooth rich pate served with a red onion confit and warm brioche slices.


MAINS

Roast breast of Norfolk Turkey
Served with all the traditional trimmings and our special spiced cranberry sauce

Fresh lemon sole filets en croute
With a wild mushroom stuffing, wrapped in a pastry blanket and drizzled with a delicate truffle oil dressing

Steamed salmon fillet
Served on a bed of shredded vegetables finished with a fresh ginger scallop and soy sauce sprinkled with chopped coriander

Marinated Sword Fish steak.
Infused with chilli oil and Mango chunks
Served on a bed of Thai noodles.

Pan-fried filet mingnoun
Prime Aberdeen Angus steak, served on a rosti potato cake with a rich port and brandy jus.

Fresh Asparagus Risotto
With shavings of fresh Parmesan cheese.

All the above dishes are served with

Brussels sprouts with chopped chestnuts
Buttered Vichy carrots
Roasted Parsnips glazed with honey.
Herb infused roast potatoes.


DESSERTS

Traditional Xmas pudding
Served with rum butter or Brandy sauce.

Yuletide dark chocolate log
Served with cointreau syrup and lashings of double cream.

Spiced winterberry crumble
Served with vanilla ice cream.

Three cheese selection
With celery grapes and walnut bread slices.

Filter Coffee and mince Pies.

CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATIONS - HOW TO BOOK

Booking is simple, the first step is to call us and reserve your table.
We will then send you a printed menu and booking form.

A deposit of £25 per person (non refundable) is required to secure your booking, so this needs to be sent to us as soon as you can. Until the deposits are received the booking is unconfirmed.
Upon receipt of your deposits, we will call you to confirm your booking and chat about any special requests you might have.

Please use the printed booking form to let us know your party’s selections (for large
parties it might be an idea to keep a copy for your reference).
